About RUSA

RUSA 2.0 Project was awarded to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra considering its achievements in Research and Academics. The A+ Grade provided by NAAC and Category-I status under University (Graded Autonomy) by UGC, provided opportunity to the University to participate in RUSA 2.0 challenge level funding. As a result it was awarded Rs. 100 Crore under “Component 4 Enhancing Quality and Excellence” under RUSA 2.0 in 2018. The award of RUSA 2.0 is linked to the expectation that university shall drive in the future through innovation.

The vision of RUSA 2.0 is promotion of Research, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Employability. For this an eco-system has been created with 5 Research Centres and 6 dedicated Training Centres as follows:
